CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: On February 26, 2013, the City of Colwood will begin work on a pedestrian crosswalk signal on the Old Island Highway. During construction hours, visitors to the Library and Recreation Centre may need to use the Ocean Boulevard entrance. The lights at Ocean Boulevard and the Old Island Highway will be adjusted to compensate for any increase in traffic. Thank you for your patience.

West Shore Park & Recreation is governed by the West Shore Parks & Recreation Society's Board of Directors made up of representatives from the City of Colwood, the City of Langford, the District of Metchosin, the District of Highlands, the Juan de Fuca Electoral area and the Town of View Royal. Each municipality's contribution, through tax requisition, assists in the operation of the parks and recreation facilities.
