Newsletter Spotlight

  • Patrons 12 yrs. and older are required to wear a mask at all times when not engaged in physical activity. This includes when transitioning through the weight room, common areas and may be removed once on equipment.
  • We have a new website! With so much done online these days we have improved our website to better serve the community and showcase the hard work or our staff.

WSPR Pottery Sale ⚱️

September 25, 2021 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
in the Centennial Centre Parking Lot
at 2805 Carlow Road.

Shop a wide variety of pottery created by local potters. Part of the proceeds from this sale will help fund new equipment in the pottery studio. *Cash recommended.


Lights, camera, action! 🎬

Hilary Jardine is a busy working actor in the Canada and the US Film & TV industry. Over the past ten years, Hilary has recurred on major TV series such as Showtime’s Homeland, CBS’ Zoo, Syfy’s Van Helsing, Amazon Prime’s Upload, and in numerous Hallmark MOWs. 

Starting in September students will learn the fundamentals of screen acting and auditioning. Using improvisational games, and a weekly on camera audition, student will become stronger storytellers and begin to develop their confidence as an actor in front of the camera. Hilary Jardine is the owner of Circus Actors Studio.

Sign up for a tee-rific time! 

The Women with Drive golf program is new this fall.
This program is ideal for women 16 years of age and over with little to no golf experience. There will be four weeks of one-hour lessons. On the last two weeks there will be a two-hole game night on the Juan de Fuca Golf Course. Program delivered by PGA of Canada professional Craig Rencher and take place in the JDF Indoor Sports Turf.

100x1000 campaign 💯

The Westshore Skatepark Coalition (WSC) and West Shore Parks & Recreation (WSPR) are working in partnership to a build a new 13,000 Square foot multi-purpose all-wheels skatepark in the Westshore that features 3 distinct areas providing free outdoor recreation opportunities to a large spectrum of participants. This park would support children, youth and families with interests in skateboarding, scootering, BMXing and rollerskate/inline-skating in growing communities of the Westshore.

Our goal is to have 100 business and sponsors to donate $1000 to help complete the All-Wheels Skatepark.
